American Heart Association BLS Providers Course:  Initial Course
 
This course is for students who have never taken the BLS Provider course previously or whose American Heart Association BLS certification has expired. 
 
This option provides the ultimate in flexibility! This is the exact same American Heart Association course that you would complete at our facility, but from the comfort of your own home. We send you our fully sanitized AHA approved compact CERT Training Kit, and you simply log-in to our video classroom and complete the hands on course live with an American Heart Association Instructor. No downloads of Apps are required. Upon successful completion of the course you are immediately provided your American Heart Association certification. It's that easy! 
Recommended for: MDs, RNs, EMTs, Dentists, Pharmacists, and Medical Personnel.
 
THE AHA BLS CPR CLASS COVERS:
Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations
Breathing Barriers, Bag Valve Masks, and 2 Rescuer CPR
Cardiopulmonary Emergencies and Special Resuscitation Situations
 
How it works:
Step 1: Register for your course, and complete the Heartcode BLS Course (access provided in confirmation email).
Step 2: Receive your compact CERT Training Kit
Step 3: Login to any class time we offer within 7 days of receiving your training kit (no pre-registration necessary!). Classes are offered Monday through Saturday at 9am, 12pm, and 8pm Eastern Time (excluding holidays). Skills sessions take approximately 1 hour to complete. Upon successful completion you will immediately receive your American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification.  
 
Remember, after you complete the course you must return your training kit within 7 days of receiving it. Prepaid return label is provided free of charge!

Students are required to have an active and reliable internet connection, as well as a functioning webcam and microphone, to complete the course. Attendance for the entire duration of the skills session is mandatory to receive certification.
Students are required to return the CERT Training Kit to a UPS Store within 7 business days after receiving the kit. Failure to do so will result in the revocation of their certification until the equipment is returned. If the equipment is not returned within 30 calendar days of receiving the kit, a lost equipment fee of $300.00 will be charged. Training Kits are considered returned when dropped off at a UPS Store location during normal business hours or picked up by UPS as part of a scheduled pickup.
By participating in this course, I acknowledge and accept all risks associated with it. I hereby waive my rights to any claims for injuries or damages that may arise during the course, instruction, or subsequent activities. I agree to hold C.E.R.T. LLC harmless from all liabilities, including but not limited to physical, financial, or other damages, that may affect myself or others as a result of my participation. I fully recognize and assume all risks of injury, including but not limited to physical harm, death, cross-infection, or property damage, and I release C.E.R.T. LLC from any and all claims connected with this course.
